It is our hope that in the future everyone shall be able to enjoy the beauties of the Glenavy river to the full. We envisage the development of paths along the riverside and the creation of conservation areas. However, these are future aspirations. At present there are very few places where the general public can access the river and we have highlighted them in the Glenavy River Tour (see below).
